What is this game about?
Have you ever play 1942? A shoot-em-all vertical scrolling shooter game? Shooty Skies is the same genre as 1942 game but with graphics similar to Crossy Road: cartoon-ish squarish colorful environment.

Gameplay and Objective
Like many other vertical scrolling shooter games, your mission is to defeat the boss that is waiting at the end of the level. Grab any power-ups as many as you can, shoot as many enemies as you can, collect that squarish coins to later buy and upgrade your weapons. Get the highest score.
What makes this game fun is that the enemies themselves are not scary fighter jets, tanks, big warplanes and so on, but actually radios, arcade machines, computers, laptop and any kinds of gadgets.
1 more life to live
Once you blow out and dead, you can revive for 1 more time either by paying coins or watch an advertisement.
Unlock Characters and Weapons
The characters can be unlocked using in-app purchases, however the weapons can be unlocked by coins, so collect as many coins as you can.
Weapons also can be unlocked if you are passing certain requirements, for example if you reached high score, then a new weapon is unlocked.

Even though the Android version coming out so late, but finally Shooty Skies - the game produced by the same developer that made Crossy Road - is released for Android. The game itself is fun and entertaining. If you are looking for 1942-like game and fans of Crossy Road, this game is perfect for you.
