"Is it dark outside" is a simple app with simple interface that does
simple thing: reporting you whether outside is dark or not.
I'm not sure whether this app is made by the same developer who made for iOS, but this app does the same thing.
Based
on your location, the app will then use latitude, longitude, date and
time to measure when is the sunrise and sunset time at your location.
If before sunrise or after sunset, then the app will show you: YES (it is dark outside).
If after sunrise and before sunset, then the app will show you: NO (it is not dark outside).

Do you often need to let somebody know which location on the park to
meetup or which flower on the florist to buy for mom or anything that
needs you to send someone a picture with a mark up/label?
If
you answer is yes you often need to show something to someone by
marking up/labeling the picture for easier recognition, then the new app
from Evernote is the right app that can help you: Skitch - Snap the
picture, mark it up by pointer and words, then send it.
Not
only images that can be marked up, but also PDF, however PDF markup
requires you to buy in-app purchase or become Evernote premium

Another simple yet addictive and at the same time can make frustrated - type of game, introducing: Circle.
Made
by the same developer - Ketchapp - which most of the games - if not all
- are using the same genre - simple yet addictive game.
Your objective is simple: guide the circle by jumping to avoid touching the line as long as you can.
Looks
easy and simple but wait until you see the line suddenly going up then
down then up again just like the exchange rate or stock exchange graphs.
LOL!
Complete the tasks, collect diamonds to unlock new circles.
Also
you can play the race, on the race menu. Just like in racing game, but
you are using circle as your car and the track is the line!
This game offers in-app purchases to buy diamonds and remove ads.
Current version 1.5.1 requires Android 2.3 (GingerBread) and up.
Claimed to be the world first endless action RPG - Slayin is a new
genre - I should say - mixing endless type of game, with action and RPG
and 8-bit graphics.
3 menus on main menu: Start, Tavern, and Graveyard.
First
menu: Start - to start the game, you'll have to choose one between 6
heroes: knight, wizard, knave, archer, tamer and ninja. If you are
playing for the first time, you can only choose knight.
All you
need to do is to eliminate as many enemies and bosses as you can before
you die and collect anything from coins to elixir.
Control is also dead simple, 2-directional button: left or right, jump button and pause button.
When you press left, the hero will go all the way to the left until you press right button to change direction and vice versa.
You don't need to press button to attack, as the hero is always pointing the sword towards the enemies.
You can jump to avoid ground obstacles or to kill flying enemies.
In
the middle of game, you can also find old man standing on the corner of
the stage, approach him to refill your health as well to buy even more
powerful swords, armors or spells.
Each stages you pass, the difficulties will be harder then before. You will meet with more powerful enemies and bosses.
Survive as long as you can, because once you are dead, it's over. You'll have to start over again.
Once you are dead, you will have a graveyard with your name and high score written on it.
Second menu: Tavern - to buy upgrades, unlock characters and other accessories.
Third
menu: Graveyard - basically a place where you can see your highscore
and compare it with the rest of your friends' highscore.
If
you like to try something new, try this game. Even though I myself feel
a bit frustrated when playing this game, because keep dying at the same
place for multiple times, but this game is still fun and addictive to
play and effective to kill time.
This game offers in-app purchases to buy fame points that you can use to buy equipments and accessories.

A very simple yet addictive but also can make you frustrated, The Red Button game is all about speed.
When you start the game, you see only a button that keeps changing color: red and blue.
Press the button only when it turns blue and avoid pressing the button when it turns red. As simple as that!
The
thing that (will) makes you frustrated is that the timing when the
button turns red and blue is really random. Sometimes the blue button
appear for so long time, makes your finger feels itchy to press it, but
at the time your finger touch the button, it turned into red already.
Do you think you are fast enough? Try this game first to see how highest you can get the score.
This game offers in-app purchase to remove ads.
Current version 1.0 requires Android 2.3 (GingerBread) and up.

arcade is dominating.

Inspired by Candy Crush Saga - I would say - Snack Truck Fever is
another color-matching puzzle game with its own unique features.
If
on other games you can only match vertically and horizontally, Snack
Truck Fever can match vertically, horizontally and diagonally.
On
each level, you will be given a task from simple one like collecting
sandwich, create and collect burger, cup of tea, cup of coffee to a
complex and complicated one like collect all tortilla chips, serve and
fulfill police officer, aunty and any body else.
Looks
easy at first, but each time you are succeeding a level, next level is
harder with more complex board and more complicated task. But don't
worry, if you are stuck with one level, there are quite number of items
to help you: from sponge to clear all the items in a row, spatula to
swaps between two items, knife to remove all the items of one kind and
mixer to rearrange all the items on the board. Not only that, if you are
run out of moves and game over, you can unlock additional 5 steps using
coins. However, the coins are not free, you have to purchase them using
actual money.
You are also given total 5 lives at
first, if you run out of them, you can get additional by ask friends to
help you (connect to Facebook), exchange life with coins or just wait
for couple of minutes to replenish back your life.

So if you like Candy Crush Saga, you must love Snack Truck Fever as well. Fantastico!

When first saw this game on Play store especially the icon, I thought
this game would be like Monument Valley game, but after download,
installed and played it, turned out this game is actually an endless
running game but with themes that looks like Monument Valley. Somehow I
felt like I'm being cheated by the game icon. Haha.
The game itself, The Branch, turn out to be fun, addictive and frustrating game at the same time.
Why?
Because when first start this game, I was just given one instruction to
stay on the branch as long as I could. Seemed easy until I realized
that no matter where I touch my screen whether up, down, left or right,
the game character only moved to one direction.
If from
the start he moves to the right, then pressing anywhere on the screen
will always moves him to the right and vice versa. Fine with me.
Until
one game I realized another fact, then don't care he moves to the right
or left at the start of the game, in the middle of the game, don't know
why, but he can switch direction. If at first he always moves to the
right when I press anywhere on screen, after certain time, he starts
moving to the left when I press anywhere on the screen and that's where
the frustration comes from.
Just now while writing the
blog I tried to once more play the game, and I have just realized
another fact, the character move direction will switch once I obtain the
purple gem. So for those who wants to stick with same direction, avoid
taking the purple gem.
The game allow us to change the main character, just like in Crossy Road.
Definitely a must-to-try game, especially those who like challenges.
This game offers in-app purchase to remove ads.
Current version 1.01 requires Android 4.0 (ICS) and up.
Does your phone running out of space for whatever reasons?
But
again for whatever reasons you don't want to delete your photos or
videos collections that turn out eating most of your space?
Well, you may now have peace of mind, Crunch Gallery is the perfect app for you.
When
opening the app first time, it will calculate all your photos and
videos and show to you how much extra space you can have after crunching
all the photos and videos.
In my case, I've got 1240
photos and 11 videos and Crunch Gallery reported to me that I can save
as many as 1.5GB if I crunch them all.
Next step is
that you need to select photos or videos. Or if you really want to
select all of them, simply by pressing select max.
Crunch
Gallery will crunch your selected photos and videos to smaller size
while maintaining their quality to be the same as the originals. In the
end, you will get extra space after the crunching and you will still
have your photos and videos.
What's good is that after
crunching the photos and videos, the app put back the crunched version
photos and videos so you can access them from the photos app - just like
usual.
In the end, the app will ask you whether you want to delete the original photos or videos or not.
Based
on my trial on the iOS version, when prompted whether I want to delete the original files
or not and choose not to delete, the app crashes. No big deal, since the
main purpose of this app is to save space, then mostly choose to delete
the original photos and videos files.
Current version 1.1.0.8 requires Android 4.1 (JellyBean) and up.
A new game by Square Enix, Lara Croft: Relic Run is another endless running game just like Temple Run or Subway Surfer.
But
of course Lara Croft: Relic Run is not totally the same as the 2 game
mentioned above, this game is equipped with stunning graphics and
different actions and locations.
You are not just only
running, but in one section, you have to pull your trigger, shooting at
the monsters. Another time, you have to pull your gas pedal, driving ATV
or bike.
Another great things of this game is the
game point of view may change or adapt based on your movement. When
passing a bridge, for example, the camera view will move from the back
of Lara to the right side of Lara. When jumping over obstacle and doing
parkour, the view will change to animated view.
One
thing about this game that makes me "hates" this game is the environment
is so full and packed with everything, so certain times I find it
difficult to differentiate between a path where Lara can step and a hole
that I should avoid. So multiple times I fell on a hole that I thought
there is a path to step on but there is not.
This game offers in-app purchases.
Current version 1.0.32 requires Android 2.3 (GingerBread) and up.
